Project Overview:
This project began as an internal RiTE test case while our VP supervisor, Kevin Christopher, was developing early software to connect motion-control robotics with virtual production. We had all the tools at our disposal — projectors, high-speed computing, and a BOLT robotic arm — but rather than create a simple tech demo, we set out to let story lead the experiment.
Our CCO, Ryan Monolopolus, collaborated with our creative braintrust to craft a humor-laced monologue from an original character, Hex Mortis — brought to life by the incredibly talented fabricator and performer, Josh Cole. Blending Kevin’s technical ingenuity with character-driven storytelling resulted in one of the most inventive tech demonstrations we could have imagined.
